I had a decent stay at the hotel, which is conveniently located for accessing the Manchester Arena and city center. The staff was friendly and provided helpful local advice. However, the rooms were quite small and had an issue with cold drafts, which detracted from the overall comfort. Dining options could also be improved, but the location definitely makes it worthwhile.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms were very small and basic, which made it a bit uncomfortable. I also felt a draft as the window couldn't close properly, but on the bright side, they were clean.
Service
9.0
The staff really stood out to me; they were brilliant and very friendly, especially when giving advice about local parking and places to visit.
Location

The location is ideal—it’s just a short walk to the Manchester Arena and city center, making it super convenient for events.
Dining

The breakfast experience was a mixed bag. It offered great value with kids eating free, but the choices were somewhat limited.
Facilities

The hotel had basic facilities, but nothing stood out as particularly impressive or luxurious.

The hotel has a great location, perfect for accessing the Manchester Arena and city center, but the cleanliness and service could use some improvement. While the rooms were generally good, a few cleanliness issues detracted from my experience. The dining situation was underwhelming, especially considering the price, but the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and good, but they did have some peculiar architecture with an aluminum canopy over the window that needed a bit of a clean. Overall, I felt the rooms were decent for the price.
Service
6.0
The service was friendly and attentive, but I encountered some cleanliness issues, like a cobweb in the bathroom and unvacuumed floors. I expected better given the price I paid.
Location

The location was perfect for my needs, just a short distance to the Manchester Arena and city center, making it very convenient for my plans.
Dining

The dining experience left much to be desired; the breakfast was pretty standard and not very appealing. It felt like it could have offered more variety given the price.

I had a decent stay overall. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a stone's throw from Manchester Arena, which made it super convenient for me. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which was a nice touch. However, the room cleanliness could use improvement, and the breakfast was a bit lackluster. The value for money is good, but I wish the dining options were better.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms could have been cleaner, and there was a noticeable smell at times, which wasn't pleasant. The beds were okay, but I didn't sleep very well because of the odor.
Service

The staff were welcoming and handled the long queue for drinks with professionalism and a smile. A special shoutout to Kim and the gentleman who checked me in; they really made the experience more enjoyable.
Location

The location couldn't be better for attending events at Manchester Arena—it's ideally positioned and convenient for getting around.
Dining

Breakfast was okay, but it could have been warmer and offered more variety. Asking for a fried egg was a no-go, which was disappointing.
Facilities

The hotel had good amenities, although I didn't get to try everything. Having the option to drink until 5 AM was a nice perk if you're looking to unwind after a concert.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, with friendly staff and a nice, clean room. The location was great, just a short walk to the arena, which made everything convenient. However, I did notice some street noise which could be a bit disturbing at times, and the breakfast area felt a little lacking in atmosphere. Overall, it was definitely good value for money.
Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and tidy, featuring a comfortable bed and spotless white towels, though it could be noisy from police sirens passing by.
Service

The staff were absolutely fantastic, super friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and efficient.
Location

It’s conveniently located right across from the Manchester Arena and close to the Palace Theatre and shops, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was decent, but the dining area felt a bit too much like a McDonald's with a lack of ambience.
Facilities

The hotel had a 24-hour car park next door for £14, which was really convenient for parking.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge Manchester Central Arena for a concert, and it was a brilliant experience overall. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Victoria station and the city center, making it super convenient. The rooms were clean and tidy, and I appreciated the fan provided due to the heat. However, the service felt a bit rushed with the long queues for drinks after the concert, and while the breakfast was decent, I think the options could have been broader. Overall, it was great value for money and I'll definitely consider staying here again.
